The Green Party Candidates wlil not appear on the Ballot. This means that your ballot will be mailed out very shortly if you have requested that an Absentee or Vote by Mail ballot be mailed to you.
Drop boxes have been ok’d there will be 11-18 drop boxes across the county. The plans are to locate the boxes inside public libraries. They will be monitored. The boxes will be emptied every evening at 8 pm by a Sheriff deputy with a body camera. The ballots will be returned to voter services, sorted by precinct, and stored in a safe until they are ready to be counted.
Your mail-in ballot must be enclosed in the ‘secrecy’ envelope for the mail-in ballot to be counted. The PA Supreme Court also ruled that any ballot mailed by Nov. 3 and received at voter services by Friday, Nov. 6 would be counted. Based on that date, we would prefer ballots to be returned in the mail by Oct. 25th. After that date, you should plan to use the drop boxes with your last option being to bring the whole mail-in ballot package, ballot and two envelopes to the polling location to be spoiled and then vote a normal ballot.
