Philadelphia NAACP Community Town Hall: Protecting Social Safety Nets

Join us for a vital community townhall focused on protecting the programs that millions rely on—Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, housing assistance, and more.
Local elected officials and community advocates will discuss the current threats to these essential safety nets, how policy decisions impact everyday lives, and what can be done to ensure these programs remain strong for future generations. This is a space to learn, ask questions, and speak up for the resources that keep our communities safe, healthy, and supported.
The Fierce Urgency of Now: Rooted in Legacy, Rising in Power
This year’s convention promises to be one of the most powerful and timely gatherings yet, focusing on collective action, legislative advocacy, and mobilizing collective power across Pennsylvania. Let's prepare for participation. This is our opportunity to shape the direction of the work ahead—through engagement, advocacy, and statewide unity.
