The Committee seeks to: (1) promote media content consistent with fundamental NAACP goals, which include the elimination of racial isolation, fear & the furtherance of multi-racial & cultural understanding; (2) monitor local and national media (3) provide the National NAACP Office with research and data on those local businesses engaged in communications arts and sciences; (4) provide information to aid in the choice and access to a variety of high quality products and services at reasonable cost. No publicity shall be released without first being approved by the Branch President.
