The Political Action Committee: (1) seeks to increase registration and voting; (2) works for the enactment of municipal, state and federal legislation designed to improve the educational, political and economic status of minority groups; (3) seeks the repeal of racially discriminatory legislation; (4) works to improve the administration of justice; (5) works to secure equal enforcement of the law; and (6) keeps the National NAACP Office, the NAACP Washington Bureau, and the Branch informed of all proposed legislation which affects minority groups. The Committee is non-partisan and does not endorse candidates for public office.
As we approach the critical 2024 national elections and our own NAACP branch elections, we face unprecedented challenges to voting rights and civil liberties. It's crucial that we understand how our active participation in these democratic processes can directly shape the future of civil rights and equality in America.

Since 1968, UnidosUs , is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that serves as the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization. Through their unique combination of expert research, advocacy programs, and an Affiliate Network of nearly 300 community-based organizations across the United States and Puerto Rico, UnidosUS simultaneously challenges the social, economic, and political barriers that affect Latinos at the national and local levels.
2024 Branch Elections are approaching. National Branch Election time! National will provide the best information to assist in this effort. There will be three webinars to cover the election manual and the election process.

Long-term sustainability requires fresh perspectives, energy and engagement. Encourage friends and family to join and participate in NAACP activities.
Members in good standing, whose name appears on the role as a bona fide member by May 1st, shall be eligible to run for office or vote in a branch election.
Each September, NAACP units begin the process to elect leaders for the upcoming year.
To vote, the branch secretary must have a valid phone number and email address on file.
Consider running for an office/position.
Terms of office are for two (2) years.

Armed Services and Veterans' Affairs Committee seeks to: (1) establish a working relationship with those agencies in government, national, state & local, having the responsibility in the affairs of members of the various Armed Services & Veterans and to ensure that the programs to which they are responsible are administered fairly and justly to members of the minority community; (2) study conditions pertaining to veterans and members of the Military Service and their dependents and/or survivors in the community; (3) serve as a center of information on matters affecting the members of Active Military, Reserves, State National Guard.

Since its establishment in 1971, the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) has been committed to using the full Constitutional power, statutory authority, and financial resources of the federal government to ensure that African Americans and other marginalized communities in the United States have the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. As part of this commitment, the CBC has fought for the past 48 years to empower these citizens and address their legislative concerns.
The Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus was founded in 1973. The purpose of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus is to serve as an information and advocacy vehicle to advance the interests of African American, Latino, and other people of color of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
